The CompTIA Network+ certification is a popular accreditation worldwide of the technical expertise that entry-level IT network administrators must possess. The CompTIA Network+ certification is a certification made for network technicians at the mid-level. This exam is designed to evaluate a network technician's understanding of troubleshooting, network architecture, installation, and configuration.

This course is divided into five chapters and includes demonstration videos,  practical insights, lesson discussions, and presentations into the CompTIA NET+ Cert 007 Update's five domains.

Learners who want to prepare for and pass the N10-006: CompTIA Net+ Certification and CompTIA Net+ Certification will benefit from this course. Skills to be developed and Course Prerequisites

This lesson is an upgrade to the prior CompTIA Net+ compilation of knowledge, emphasizing the changes in the N10-007 exam. Before beginning this lesson, all learners should go through or acquaint themselves with the prior 17 lesson course.

In addition, course participants are expected to have a CompTIA A+ certification or comparable knowledge and nine to twelve months of IT networking job experience.

Course takers should be able to show several technical skills after completing this course based on target competencies:

  • Establish basic network connectivity
  • Implement standards, network security, and protocols
  • Troubleshoot, manage and configure common network devices
  • Identify weaknesses and network limitations 
  • Maintain and understand network documentation

Course Content

The module focuses on the CompTIA NET+ Cert 007 Update, divided into five core domains, each of which is covered in detail in each chapter. These are the main points of each domain's scope and coverage:

  • Part One: Network Concepts — at the start of the training, the networking concepts domains are fully introduced. The protocols, OSI Reference Model, switching and changes in routing, cloud principles and purposes, and network service functionality will all be covered.
  • Part Two: Infrastructure — the infrastructure domain is covered in this part. This covers cabling solutions, network device replacement and use, network storage deployment and virtualization.
  • Part Three: Network Operations — this section focuses on the domain of network operations. This session covers best practices and policies and prepares business continuity, documentation, diagrams, monitoring, scanning, and patches.
  • Part Four: Network Security — this section delves into the network security domain, outlining many changes in wireless security,  authentication, physical security devices, access control, and frequent network assaults.
  • Part Five: Network Troubleshooting — the final section of the module is devoted to network troubleshooting, in which students will learn about new hardware, tools, and software that learners can use to fix varying problems while troubleshooting wired and wireless connectivity and troubleshooting common service-related issues.
