AWS Certified Security Specialist Overview

Providing demonstrations videos, thorough discussions, and lesson presentations, this course contains comprehensive sets of learning materials presented in nine installments. The following is the topic presentation per course segment, along with the specific contents to be covered in each segment.

Part One: Incident Response – this portion covers an introduction to Specialty Security, incident response, exposed keys, and Incident Response in the Cloud.

Part Two: Vulnerability and Cloudwatch –  this section introduces learners to concepts such as vulnerability exploit payload, AWS Inspector, Firewalls overview, EC2 Run Command, and Cloudwatch Logs.

Part Three: Athean and Trusted Advisor – this section discusses AWS Athena, Governance, Trusted Advisor, AWS Macie,  and S3 Event Notification in detail.

Part Four: Hosts and IPSec – this part tackles Bastion Hosts, Site to site Tunneling, IPsec, VPC, Network ACL, Sockets, and Egress Rules.

Part Five: IDS and DOS – this segment takes on IDS, Reverse Proxy, CloudFront Distribution, Cloudfront Signed, and Denial of Service.

Part Six: APIs and Organization – this section provides learners a brief introduction to the API, and detailed discussions of Lambda and Deploy, Lambda and S3, AWS Artifact, AWS Organizations, IAM Policy, Delegation, AWS CLI, and EC2 Meta data.

Part Seven: Security and Integration – this portion is dedicated to exposing learners to the security token service, Federation, SAML for SSO, IDP and SP, selecting the IDP, AD Integration, S3 Bucket Policies, Canned ACL, and S3 Versionings.
